Butter Chicken

Silky, restaurant-style butter chicken with a rich tomato-cream gravy and deep, smoky masala flavour — made pure at home with freshly ground Taaza spices.
Ingredients
- 700 g boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup thick yogurt
- 4 large tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 2 tsp Taaza Garam Masala
- 1.5 tsp Taaza Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Taaza Coriander Powder
- Salt & kasuri methi to taste
Step-by-step method

Marinate chicken in yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder and salt for at least 1 hour.

Sear the marinated chicken in a hot pan until charred at the edges. Set aside.

In butter, cook the tomato puree with coriander powder until the oil separates.

Add garam masala and a splash of water; simmer to a glossy gravy.

Fold in the seared chicken and cook for 10 minutes on low heat.

Stir in fresh cream and crushed kasuri methi. Rest for 5 minutes and serve hot.
